How it Works:

The calculator determines your total investment (buy price * shares + buy commission) and your total proceeds from the sale (sell price * shares - sell commission). The difference is your net profit or loss. The Return on Investment (ROI) is calculated as (Net Profit or Loss / Total Investment) * 100%.

Example:

If you bought 100 shares of a stock at $150.50 per share with a $10 buy commission, and sold them at $165.75 per share with a $10 sell commission:
Total Investment = (100 * $150.50) + $10 = $15,050 + $10 = $15,060
Total Proceeds = (100 * $165.75) - $10 = $16,575 - $10 = $16,565
Net Profit = $16,565 - $15,060 = $1,505
ROI = ($1,505 / $15,060) * 100% = 9.99%
