How the Age Calculator Works

The age calculator determines your age by calculating the difference between your date of birth and the current date (or a specified date).

Age Calculation Method

The calculator uses the following approach:

• Years: The difference in calendar years, adjusted if the birth month/day hasn't occurred yet in the current year.
• Months: The difference in calendar months, adjusted if the birth day hasn't occurred yet in the current month.
• Days: The difference in calendar days.
• Total Days: The total number of days between the two dates.
• Hours, Minutes, Seconds: Calculated based on the exact time difference.

Example Calculation

If you were born on January 15, 1990, and today is March 30, 2025:

• Years: 2025 - 1990 = 35 years
• Months: 3 - 1 = 2 months (since January 15 to March 30)
• Days: 30 - 15 = 15 days
• So you are 35 years, 2 months, and 15 days old.

The calculator also shows your age in total days, hours, minutes, and seconds, which are continuously updated in real-time.
